- 1 Loaf
Ingredients
- Pizza dough, pre-made or your own recipe
- 1 (15oz) jar Cascone's pizza sauce
- Fresh basil
- 1 cup Fresh shredded mozzarella
- Toppings (Artichokes, Olives, Italian meats, Peppers, etc.)
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Instructions
- Lay dough on lightly floured surface. Form into rectangular shape.
- Spread pizza sauce on dough in an even layer. (Use less or more sauce as desired.)
- Add toppings in layers. We suggest artichokes, sliced olives, pepperoni, and mozzarella. Traditional Scotcha calls for mozzarella and fresh basil.
- Fold over short ends of dough to tuck in ingredients. Roll up the dough and toppings to form a "pizza log" shape.
- Coat the outside in extra virgin olive oil. Brush the baking sheet or pizza stone with extra virgin olive oil.
- Bake at 350° F for about 25 minutes or until golden brown. Slice and serve.
